A good walk-in wardrobe saves time every morning and keeps clothes in order without effort. Its design depends less on decoration than on three decisions: how it is lit, how it is organised inside and which materials are used.
Make the most of daylight if you have it, but protect clothes from direct sun. Artificial light works best in layers: general recessed ceiling lighting, spots aimed at the mirror and LED strips inside the wardrobes that switch on when the doors open.
A full-length mirror is essential. Well placed, opposite a window or at the far end, it also makes the space feel larger. Backlit mirrors give a soft, flattering light.

Hanging rails at different heights for long and short garments, drawers with dividers for accessories, adjustable shelves and pull-out shoe racks. Take stock before designing: how many metres of hanging, how many pairs of shoes, how many drawers. That way the wardrobe fits what you own, not the other way round.
Light, neutral tones open up the space; wood and textiles add warmth. A rug and a small bench for dressing complete it.
We work with Italian manufacturers, in particular Zalf and Novamobili, whose wardrobe systems are configured to the centimetre. If you are planning a walk-in wardrobe as part of a renovation, tell us about your project.
