Comprehensive refurbishment project of a 265 m2 flat near Turó Parc.
The entire floor plan was modified to adapt it to the needs of the new owners, completely renovating all the spaces.
The kitchen space, which was very compartmentalised, was unified to make it larger and tidier, and an access door and window were designed in metal profiles and glass to let natural light into the kitchen.
In the same way, the living-dining room was unified into a single larger space to take advantage of the light offered by the large windows.
The dining room is equipped with an audio and video system consisting of a 70-inch TV and a 4K projector with a 300 cm cinema screen hidden in the ceiling and a multi-zone audio system embedded in the ceiling by Martin Logan.
All obsolete ceilings, floors and installations were removed and completely replaced.
Ceilings were redesigned to include illuminated coving and mouldings with Noel marquet and Orac Decor elements.
At the clients’ request we restored original elements that they wanted to keep because of their design, uniqueness and excellent workmanship.
We dismantled and restored glass doors and a large sliding door leading to the office. All the original cast iron radiators were also dismantled, restored and refurbished.
A ducted air conditioning system with 5 independent zones was added as well as a PLANIKA Bioethanol fireplace integrated into the TV unit.
The new floors were made in collaboration with AVAWOOD in SAUVAGE COLLECTION natural oak wood and panelling in the dining room from the same company.
A STRATOS table from CATTELAN ITALIA and decorative elements from EICHHOLTZ, LUZIO and AZUL TIERRA were chosen for the living room.
A new youth bathroom was made as a common area for two girls.
The master bathroom was completely redistributed to accommodate three separate spaces with a large shower cubicle and a bespoke double washbasin with suspended vanity unit and Cosentino quartzite worktop, all made to measure.
In the master bedroom and bedroom distributor, the wardrobes and dressing room were completely restored, as these elements are very unique, redecorating doors and interiors with new accessories and decorative wallpaper from LA MAISON BARCELONA.
The result is a classic style home, with very spacious rooms and a more rational layout, better adapted to current uses. A home that conveys a serene and warm atmosphere, with a somewhat eclectic decoration, totally personalised to the taste of the owners and with modern and technologically very efficient installations.
