A studio where architecture, design and craft converge.
Good interior design does not announce itself. It reveals itself gradually: in the way a room changes as light moves through it, in the tactile satisfaction of a perfectly balanced door handle, in the quiet sense that everything is in exactly the right place. ETNA STUDIO has been creating interiors of this quality in Barcelona for over twenty years, working from a studio and showroom in the heart of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district.
What began as a focused practice in residential interior design has grown into a comprehensive studio capable of managing every dimension of a home transformation — from the initial architectural audit to the final placement of a decorative object. This breadth reflects the genuine multidisciplinary capability of our team and the network of trusted specialists we work with on every project.
Our services: a complete interior design offer
Interior design is at the core of what we do. Every project begins with a careful study of the existing space, a close collaboration with the client, and the development of a coherent interior design concept that responds to both lifestyle and aesthetic preferences. We work across all residential typologies: urban apartments, penthouses, single-family homes, secondary residences and coastal properties along the Costa Brava and Girona coast.
Our project management service translates the design into a fully coordinated construction process. We liaise with architects, builders, electricians, plumbers and specialists — managing timelines, budgets and quality control — so that clients can remain focused on their lives rather than their building site.
Smart home integration is one of the most requested elements of a high-end renovation. We design systems built on KNX and Gira protocols that allow climate, lighting, security, blinds and audio-visual equipment to be controlled intuitively — from a dedicated panel, a smartphone or a voice command — while remaining completely invisible within the interior architecture.
Furniture, materials and the brands we trust
Our showroom at Copèrnic 15 in Barcelona houses two flagship collections. Armony Cucine — an Italian kitchen manufacturer whose nine collections balance aesthetic refinement with engineering excellence — is represented here as an official showroom. Frigerio Salotti, the Italian modular sofa specialist, completes the soft furnishings side with a selection of compositions that demonstrate how flexible, high-quality seating can adapt to any floor plan.
Beyond these anchor brands, our furniture and materials specification encompasses living and bedroom systems from Zalf, designer pieces from Cattelan Italia, and large-format ceramic surfaces from Living Ceramics — alongside sustainably sourced hardwoods, hand-applied finishes and bespoke joinery designed and built to our specifications.
Design, decoration and the finishing details
The final layer of a successful interior is decoration: the careful selection of textiles, curtains, rugs, art and smaller objects that give a space its personality and warmth. For home fragrance and decorative accessories, we work with brands such as Aromas del Campo and specialist curators who understand how scent and texture complete an interior. ETNA STUDIO collaborates with specialist decoration consultants to provide clients with a complete advisory service from structural decisions down to the last cushion.
Located at Copèrnic 15, 08021 Barcelona, our studio welcomes clients by appointment. Whether you are beginning a major renovation in Barcelona, planning a kitchen redesign in Girona, or furnishing a coastal property along the Costa Brava, we look forward to discussing how we can help.
Frequently asked questions
What makes ETNA STUDIO different from other interior design studios in Barcelona?
ETNA STUDIO combines architectural-level technical expertise with genuine creative sensibility and over 20 years of project management experience. Unlike studios that focus only on decoration, we oversee the full renovation process — from structural changes and permits to furniture installation — providing clients with a single point of accountability throughout.
Does ETNA STUDIO handle the entire renovation process or only the design?
We offer both options. Some clients engage us solely for the design and specification phase, handing over to their own contractor. Most, however, benefit from our integrated project management service, in which we coordinate and supervise all construction trades, manage supplier relationships and ensure the design is executed exactly as conceived — on time and within the agreed budget.
Can I see furniture and kitchen collections at the ETNA STUDIO showroom?
Yes. Our showroom at Copèrnic 15 displays the full Armony Cucine kitchen collection and a selection of Frigerio Salotti modular sofas, as well as a curated range of materials and finishes. Visits are by appointment.
Does ETNA STUDIO work on projects outside Barcelona?
Yes. We have a strong track record of projects in Girona, along the Costa Brava and in other areas of Catalonia. Our project management infrastructure allows us to supervise construction effectively regardless of location. See our completed projects for examples from across the region.
