Vila Olimpica
A minimalist integral reform project for a 98 m2 flat in the Vila Olímpica.
At the clients’ request, the emphasis was placed on the functionality and timelessness of all the materials.
We sought open-plan spaces, with made-to-measure furniture and ample use of space.
Predominance of white on walls, ceilings and lacquered skirting boards. Black details such as the recessed ceiling LED lights.
Aluminium structure of the wide ALBED sliding door or the door handles.
Access to the rooms via ‘filomuro’ doors from the Milanese firm ALBED flush with the wall without frames or covers.
Aluminium and glass door also from the firm ALBED that separates the day zone from the night zone, allowing light to pass through and giving the living room a spacious feel.
On the floor, as a counterpoint to the more technical materials, a floating floor of natural oak wood was installed, with a rustic brushed finish, where radiators embedded in the floor are integrated.
The kitchen was designed with made-to-measure furniture with handle-free doors in FÉNIX grey lacquer and NEOLITH porcelain worktops in BIANCO STATUARIO finish.
The furniture integrates a washer-dryer, a fridge-freezer and a water softener.
In the entrance to the master bedroom, a large wardrobe with coplanar doors in matt lacquer finish by the Italian firm FIMES with interior lighting was installed.
In the bathroom, a shower cubicle was designed with a translucent glass window that allows natural light to enter from the suite into the bathroom.
The bathroom furniture is also custom-made by the firm KYRYA.
