A 265 m² flat informed by the architecture of José Antonio Coderch
Some homes already have a strong architectural voice, and the interior design has to work with it rather than cover it up. In this flat on Carrer Raset, in Sant Gervasi, the brief was to adapt 265 m² to contemporary life without losing the character of the building or the legacy of Coderch.
Layout
The kitchen opens onto the living area so that natural light runs through the flat and the rooms flow into one another. The new layout starts from how the owners actually live, not from the original floor plan.
Materials
Timber finishes and geometric ceramic pieces echo Coderch’s language and give the interior its character. The project is completed by an Armony Cucine kitchen, porcelain surfaces from Living Ceramics and Wow Ceramics, and lighting from Artemide, Marset and Her Lighting.
The result
A contemporary, practical home that keeps the character of the building. If your home has architecture that deserves the same care, tell us about your project.
