A Considered Renovation for Contemporary Living

Passeig Verdum is a full-scope residential renovation project undertaken by ETNA Studio in Barcelona. The brief called for a complete architectural and interior overhaul of a city apartment — stripping it back to its bones and rebuilding it as a coherent, high-quality home tailored to the demands of modern living.

From structural layout decisions through to the selection of every finish, fitting and piece of furniture, the project was managed entirely in-house by ETNA Studio — ensuring absolute consistency in quality, detailing and aesthetic direction throughout.

Kitchen Design

Italian Precision by Armony Cucine

The kitchen is the social and functional centrepiece of the apartment. ETNA Studio selected Armony Cucine — the renowned Italian kitchen manufacturer — for its exceptional build quality, clean contemporary lines and the breadth of its customisation options. Every module was specified to suit the exact spatial proportions and lifestyle needs of this project.

The worktops are supplied by Levantina, one of Europe’s leading stone specialists, bringing natural material depth and durability to the kitchen surfaces. The combination of Italian cabinetry and Spanish stone achieves a refined, harmonious result that is as practical as it is beautiful.

Flooring

Natural Warmth with Meister Parquet

Throughout the apartment, flooring is supplied by Meister, the German premium wood-floor brand celebrated for its authentic timber surfaces and long-term performance. The parquet brings warmth, continuity and a sense of natural luxury to every room — grounding the space and providing the ideal neutral base for the furniture and colour palette above.

Bespoke Furniture

Custom Joinery Made to Measure

All furniture throughout the apartment was designed and produced entirely to measure by ETNA Studio’s workshop. Off-the-shelf solutions were ruled out from the outset — each piece responds directly to the architecture of the space, optimising every centimetre and creating seamless transitions between built-in storage, living areas and bedrooms.

Custom joinery at this level allows for complete coherence of materials, proportions and finish — a consistency that distinguishes a genuinely designed home from one that has simply been furnished. Every detail, from drawer profiles to panel reveals, was resolved with the same rigour applied to the wider architectural decisions.
