Complete refurbishment of a 450 m² house with a pool and garden. The brief: gain living space on the upper floor, improve circulation and bring light and the garden into the house.
The project was organised around four decisions: extending the upper floor; reorganising the rooms to improve circulation and make the most of natural light; high-quality finishes in floors, wall coverings and bespoke furniture; and a stronger link between inside and out, with large windows, a pool that relates directly to the living room and a garden for relaxing and entertaining.
Living area. An open-plan living and dining room with an integrated kitchen by Snaidero, a neutral palette with warm accents and indirect LED lighting.
Sleeping area. A main suite with a separate dressing room and an en-suite bathroom in microcement, and practical secondary bedrooms with bespoke details.
Outside. A pool with perimeter lighting and tropical timber decking, a landscaped garden with seating and outdoor dining areas, and shaded corners planted with Mediterranean species.
